The general scope of work for this project included in the base bid are as follows: (1) removal and replacement of existing tide gates; (2) partial demolition and retrofitting of a 72-inch corrugated metal pipe riser (Outfall #2); and (3) complete demolition and removal of 54-inch, 12-gauge, asbestos lined and bituminous coated corrugated metal outfall piping and fittings (Outfall #3). Also included in the scope of work as a bid alternate is the partial demolition/removal and abandonment in place of three (3) 21-inch, 14-gauge, asbestos lined and bituminous coated corrugated metal outfall piping, abandonment of 36-inch, 14-gauge, asbestos lined and bituminous coated corrugated metal piping and demolition and abandonment of a 72-inch corrugated metal pipe riser.

Project Description: The work includes rehabilitation of approximately 1,810 LF of 39-inch trunk sewer mains by Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining and the rehabilitation of 5 trunk manholes within the project area. Also included in the scope of work as Bid Alternate B is the rehabilitation of approximately 910 LF of 39-inch trunk sewer mains by CIPP lining and the rehabilitation of 3 trunk manholes within the project area. Also included in the scope of work as Bid Alternate A and C is the use of non-styrene, no VOC CIPP resin for the CIPP lining work in the Base Bid and Bid Alternate B, respectively.

Project Description: Installation of a 3rd large submersible pump at the recently reconstructed West Napa Pump Station, which includes piping modifications and electrical and instrumentation work. Also included in the scope of work is the following: installation of a sump pump in the flowmeter vault, installation of safety grates, installation of lighting mounted to the solar structure, installation of door switches connected to SCADA, installation of bird netting for the underside of the solar structure, and installation of a platform for the existing odor control unit and generator.

Adjustment of sanitary sewer manholes and sanitary sewer flush holes to grade on various streets within the City of Napa that have been overlaid with approximately 2.5 inches of asphalt concrete. A valid Class A, Class C-34, or Class C-42 California contractor’s license is required to bid on the Project.

Engineer's Estimate: $190,000

The general scope of work for this project includes replacement of two primary clarifier drives and two secondary clarifier metal componets, and a new secondary clarifier coating system. Also included in the scope of work is the replacement of the ferric chloride chemical storage tank, piping, valves, accessories, and coating system replacement; sodium bisulfite chemical storage tank, piping, valves, accessories, and coating system; RAS/WAS wetwell discharge elbows and piping; H-Pad piping valves and pipe coating system; secondary effluent pump station valves; and Pond 4 pump station valves.

The general scope of work for this project included in the base bid and bid alternate is the rehabilitation and/or replacement of 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" and 18" sewer mains by the following methods: Approximately 18,900 LF by cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining, 9,200 LF by pipe bursting, and 850 LF by open cut methods. Also included in the scope of work is the rehabilitation or replacement of approximately 540 laterals and 51 sewer structures within the project area.

The general scope of work for this project is the rehabilitation of 6", 8" and 10" sewer mains by the following methods: Approximately 6,054 LF cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining. Also included in the scope of work is the rehabilitation of approximately 31 laterals, installation of approximately 25 top hats, installation of approximately 17 cleanouts, and removal and replacement of approximately 4 flush holes.
